Save Tigers

Over the past years the number of tigers in India was drastically reduced and we need to save them. Around 40000 tigers was their in our country but now not even 1500 only left with 1411.

Relentless poaching and clearing of habitat for agriculture have been the primary drivers for this decrease in the number, but the main and foremost reason was the demand for tiger skins and parts for medicinal purposes has become an increasingly important threat in recent years.

Recently in a research they came to know that if we provide sufficient access and food to the tigers then we can save them also to protect them from human devils, yes i call them as devils who kill tigers.

Also if we protect the tigers available in India then it will stabilize soon and we can see some increase in the tiger population.

To protect the tigers in our country, Government and the NGOs has to take some effort to put it in some national parks and zoos to have a safe life and also will get enough food.
Government has to get more visibility in indian forests to monitor whether the tigers are protected and enough food are given or else its better to bring them into some parks to have safer life and increase the productivity.
Hope we will see an increase in the tiger population soon in our country.

  3. I completely agree. Anything that we can do to help save this wonderful creature from extinction would be too little.

However, though it is sad, I think it is destined for extinction. This is because, I believe till the root cause of this trend is not addressed effectively, this will continue. And the root cause is : Greed. Till we get rid of greed from our society or implement water tight controls to prevent access of this animal to poachers, this trend will continue.

I do sincerely hope that I am proven wrong.
